our purpose
Family
Focused
We are all about your family. We believe that the youngest to oldest members of your family need the love of Jesus and age-appropriate discipleship.
Serving our
community
Demonstrating God's love to Cottonwood and beyond is so vital to our mission. We love to serve not just those in our community, but also those in need around the world. Check out some of our outreach partners.
Make
Disciples
Jesus said, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations," and we take that commission to heart. We offer multiple connect groups to help you in your journey to grow in Christ.
MEET OUR PASTORS
James & Heather Coulter
James and Heather Coulter have served The Church for over 23 years in both pastoral and support roles such as music pastors, musical evangelists, university vocal instructors and clinicians at conferences, seminars, and workshops in the US and abroad. They have a love for people, a passion for the presence of God, and deep desire to see others grow in Christ. James and Heather have one daughter, Hannah, and a son, Christopher. All of them enjoy outdoor activities like camping, fishing, walking, playing soccer, and also love to relax with good books and great coffee.
Our Story
In the fall of 2020, Pastors James and Heather assumed the pastorate of the former Cornerstone Church. At that time, there had not been a service at the church since March of 2020 due to a pastoral change and COVID. Heather and James reformed the church as Hope Community Church with a desire to create a church family that impacts each other and the community for Jesus by loving God, growing together, and serving others.
OUr VISION
To be a diverse and welcoming church with a deep commitment to cultivating a sense of community and family.
To empower individuals to become wholehearted and mature followers of Christ, rooted in a Kingdom-focused ethos.
